Veterans with Epilepsy After Traumatic Brain Injury May Have Higher Mortality Rates

Military veterans who develop epilepsy after a traumatic brain injury may have a higher mortality rate in the following years than veterans who develop epilepsy with no previous traumatic brain injury, according to a study published on October 29, 2025, in Neurology(r), the medical journal of the American Academy of Neurology.
